Josh has been serving the Iredell community through outreach since 2010. Mr. McCrary formed the Iredell Choral Society, later known as the Community Service Alliance, an organization that focused on outreach opportunities. Mr. McCrary created the Iredell COAST in 2020 in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, after surveying the need for food and affordable merchandise in our community. ​ Mr. McCrary has a background in customer service, marketing, and conflict resolution. Josh was awarded the Iredell County Future5 award in 2022. Iredell COAST was also nominated for a Community Impact Award at the 2024 Statesville Chamber of Commerce SAGE Awards.
